What is Excel Mindfully?
In "Excel Mindfully" we learn how to build effective spreadsheets while also learning to breath through stress inducing confusion. The moments of our days that cause anxiety are the very moments we can sit and breathe. We know that workloads have become increasingly demanding and that stress is at an all time high. Often times what can lead to stress in our daily activity is the feeling that we should know how to do something, but we don't even know where to start. This stress may be a result of trying to learn something that will benefit you. For example, building a website, that is stress inducing to me! These challenges you face might come from an expectation to provide data or modify data through the use of spreadsheets you are not familiar with. This can feel like a steep learning curve and the stress climbs that hill with you! How can you make changes to feel more productive and start climbing down that hill?
There is a lot of publicity around meditation and the proven results it can bring to your well being. Sometimes though, even something that people tout as relaxing, can feel overwhelming. We start thinking, "I should be meditating", but may not be sure where to begin. "How do I find the time", you may wonder. And , there may be unrealistic expectations about what it will look like or feel like, and wonder if you are doing it wrong.
These two productive activities, believe it or not, can become second nature. This workshop will teach you the skills you need to learn excel quickly and teach you ways to tune back into your natural ability to meditate and find mindfulness throughout your day. Feeling confident about your skills is empowering and liberating.
